Pocket Scrapbooking?? Why?

or better question ... what is pocket scrapbooking? Maybe you think of Project Life, I even did a digital version of that for some time! Ok ya but I talking about my pocket scrapbooking, the 2023 version! I have heard from some of you ... wait! we like your Scrapbook Simple layouts and using our Cricuts and your Simple SVGs. Yup... me too!

But I have a problem that Simples help but can't solve. I have too many photos that I love and want to share. Talking to my now adult children over the holidays, they shared with me that their childhood memories are more vivid if there was a photo of the memory. They recalled family times and vacations and birthdays but the details that stood out for all of us were the details that are in photos and of course in my well worn scrapbooks. Yikes! If I Scrapbook Simple all day every day, I will never have time to make memories!! I will just be cutting Simple SVGs and creating layouts. Ahh haaa POCKET SCRAPBOOKS can help solve my "photo memory" problem.

This super simple pocket scrapbook layout I did years ago ...just pop in cards ... but it reminds me that at 4 I had the same hair cut I have drifted to now! I want to start here ...

and GROW!

We will start with a batch of photos printed in 4x6, add the Scrapbook Simple photo cropping tools, Picture My Life cards and pocket page protectors... bring in the flip flaps, inking, embellishments, Cricut Joy and SVGs in Design Space, mixed media fun and of course stamps and inks and even heat embossing!

So many opportunities to try out fun techniques in a small space and combine creativity and all our photo memories!

Wanna try this with me? Gather some Picture My Life cards, some pocket page protectors, Paper Packs and Sticker Sheets and all your stash to add to your Cricuting too!. Facebook live will be back at the end of January on Monday the 23rd ... mark your calendar for 7:00 pm eastern and plan on checking out this fun project with me.
