Memory Keeping

It doesn't have to be scary! Here is a fun way to share your memories, even if it is only for yourself. Do you think that you don't have take photos that need to shared or saved? We do ...even if they are not huge, trip of a lifetime or birthdays or holidays. Sometimes just everyday life can be worth remembering.

Here is my challenge to you. Grab yourself a notebook. Here is the one I picked. You know it's my favorite color and Morty approves.

Gather your Simple Cropping Tool Kit, your Snail and your favorite paper trimmer.

I used 1 (12x12) piece of Designer Series Paper and 1 (8 1/2 x 11) Whisper White cardstock, my 2 1/4" circle punch.

OK HERE IS THE CHALLENGE: look in your phone and choose the last 5 or 6 photos that you took and PRINT THEM.

How am I going to do anything with these??

Well these photos tell the story of my week. They may not seem like huge milestones or BIG memories that would be part of a traditional scrapbook page, but I will look back at this and remember how much fun I had creating my Christmas Card Club Kits, making it to the Post Office on time, playing dress-up with Leo and the girls at my Mom's and choosing this notebook. I had a little space to added Sunday's parade photo that really wasn't a great photo of the parade but it did show how much fun we had watching the parade through Lucy's eyes! And yes, I got these photos out of my phone.

I used my Simple Cropping Tool and it sure came in handy. (email me if you need one) BUT since you don't have a Simple SVG for these, you are going to have to measure just a little to create the mats for your photos.

I used the largest square tool ( 3 1/2 x 3 1/2) and cut 3 mats at 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 from my Whisper White.

I also used the 3x4 soo I cut a mat 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 from the rest of my Whisper White.

Well here ... see for yourself! Hugs, Cara
