Been looking ....

You know how folks say you can't go home again? Well I am here to tell you that you can. Sometimes you wander thinking the grass is always greener on the other side. I left "home" which was Cricut classes for scrapbooking! wandering into all stamping card making (no Cricuts at all! and of course no more Close to My Heart)

As I have come back home to the comfort of my Cricut and Scrapbook Simple SVGs, I also have decided to come back home to Close to My Heart. Now you may think that seems silly. Yes Stampin' Up! has paper but they are focused on card making and I am finding that many of the papers that I used to love to work with just don't quite make it as backgrounds for my layouts. The patterns are too much for me. I need more of a scrapbook based product line.

I wanted to share this with you here so that you would again not wonder if this was a mid life crisis. (nope over that) I have tried shopping in stores and HSN too. Oh boy did I shop! But I have found the same issues I had years ago that led me to Close to My Heart. I need things to match! So everything old is new again and I am thrilled to add Close to My Heart Scrapbooking Workshops to my classroom starting in November.

2 Comments this is interesting. I used to be a CTMH while my kids were going through school. I was going through an old catalog and kind of thinking the same thing about the line of products verses SU. I am more of a scrapbooker. How often will your classes be? Do I have a minimum I must buy? Do you charge for the classes, or are they included if you pay products?

Loving all the Christmas stuff... that's my "thang", Christmas crafting, cards and tags! I just wish I could love my DS more but, I'll get there... So glad you've added this to your designs! Melinda Strange, Huntsville, TX.
